FLUID FLOW CONTROL VALVE

A fluid flow control valve has fluid flow sensing means (68) for sensing flow of fluid from an inlet (11) to a first outlet (14) and on sensing said flow enables increase of fluid flow from the inlet (11) to a second outlet (12). The increase in flow between the inlet (11) and second outlet (12) may be caused by opening a valve (71) in a flow path between the inlet (11) and second outlet (12). The flow control valve may be used to control the rate of fill of an automatic flushing cistern situated in a water using area, the rate of fill being determined at least partially by the amount of water used in other water using appliances.
