Large woven bag for bulk materials, with loops arranged at the open end of the bag, in which the fabric, the warp threads of which run in the longitudinal direction of the bag, is folded round in the region of the open end and the loops are formed by fabric portions severed in the folded-round region in the longitudinal direction of the bag.
