The intelligent modem makes the 300/1200 bps (bit per sec) double communication possible through a antenna, using a microcomputer. Selecting a 300 bps/12000 bps modem chip for a antenna, the system is simple and provides a circuit which makes the double communication possible. Also, the apparatus provides the automatic call, the communication speed conversion, and the protocol conversion which are in response to the mechanical dialogue of computer or terminal.
