PURPOSE:To obtain a novel superconductor having a comparatively high critical temp., by compacting a raw material oxide powder expressed by the general formula and sintering it. CONSTITUTION:The general formula is as follow: (Ba, gamma)x(alpha, beta)1-xepsilonyCu1-yO3-z where, the above-mentioned element gamma denotes elements selected from group IIa element exclusive Ba of the periodic table and the ratio of gamma to Ba is 1-90atom.%, above-mentioned element alpha denotes Y or La, the above-mentioned betadenotes group IIIa element exclusive alpha of the periodic table, the ratio of betato alpha is 1-90atom.%, the above-mentioned element epsilon denotes metallic elements selected from group IIIb elements of the periodic table, x, y and z respectively denote numbers which satisfy 0<=x<=1, 0<=y<=1, 0<=z<1, the above-mentioned (Ba, gamma) and (alpha, beta) respectively mean that the respective element possesses exclusively the specified crystal sites at specified proportion. |
