<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the misinput with an information input device even though the input surface of a display screen is cleaned in an application state of the power supply of the input device by setting a specific cleaning mode for a device which performs the input to an information processor via a touch to said input surface. CONSTITUTION:A main menu is displayed on a CRT screen with application of the power supply of an information processor. Each function is shown in an icon and is started when an operator touches the icon via a touch panel. When a touch is given to an icon 30 for designation of a cleaning mode, a character pattern showing the cleaning mode is displayed on the screen and no fear of misinput is produced at other parts despite touches caused by cleaning. The character pattern can be moved when a touch is given to another point after a touch is once given to the character pattern. Thus the previous position of the character pattern can be cleaned. The cleaning mode is released with two continuous touches.</p> |
