In the present invention, the object is to construct a bearing housing for inside-mounted screw pumps that is resistant to wear. To achieve this object, it is proposed that disc-like pieces of a wear-resistant material, preferably ceramic, that have the location holes for the screw spindles be inserted into a housing body, and be arranged in an axial row according to the length of lining. The invention also includes a method for manufacturing this housing, whereby the wear-resistant pieces of material are cast in the housing body by means of plastic.
