Automatic fire-control method

An automatic fire-control method for a plurality of effectors which are not necessarily identical to one another, for engaging a plurality of detected attackers which are approaching an object which is to be protected, in the case of which method available effectors are allocated to the detected attackers as a function of hit probabilities which are determined by comparison of attacker state variables with effector properties, are controlled (at least during a preparation time which precedes an operation time) as a function of the state variables of the associated attacker, and are preferably automatically fired, in each case one weighting signal (which contains the hit probability) being formed for each available effector successively for the detected targets in the sequence of the remaining delay times (determined from their state variables) until an effective separation from the object is achieved, the available effector having the best weighting signal is in each case allocated to the attackers, and the process is repeated continuously, each effector being kept available which is outside an operation time period, which includes its preparation time.
