PURPOSE:To obtain both high coercive force and high filling adaptability by containing an Al hydroxide in the surface of the title magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:An Al hydroxide is contained in the surface of the title magnetic powder. gamma-Fe2O3, magnetite, the berthollide compound which is the intermediate oxide with gamma-Fe2O3 and magnetite, the material formed by adding Co into magnetic powder, ferrite, ferromagnetic chrome oxide and the like can be enumerated as the above-mentioned magnetic powder. The above-mentioned hydroxide is the general term of a hydrated oxide such as hydrated hydroxide, a hydrated oxide or a hydrated oxyhydroxide which is the intermediate substance of the above-mentioned materials, and in the strict sense of the word, the hydroxide is not limited to the compound having the negative compound of hydroxyl group. As a result, high coercive force and high filling adaptability can be obtained. |
