An arrangement for cable routing between a door and a door pillar in a vehicle body is designed such that the stresses which act on the cable harness (4) when the door is being opened and closed are reduced and a compact, space-saving cable routing design is achieved. To this end, a first cable guide part (1) (which can be split) in the body carries the cable strands (41-43) belonging to the cable harness (4) downwards into a cavity (9) between the door end wall (6) and the door pillar wall (5). After this, the cable strands are passed upwards in a 180@ arc into a second cable guide path (2, 3) (which can split) in the door (6). The second cable guide path (2, 3) is installed in a recessed manner in the door and produces S-shaped guidance of the cable harness (4) from the said 180@ arc into the door. For simplified installation, the parts which belong to the cable guidance can be fitted on the cable harness (4) after completion of the laying of the cable between the door and the body. <IMAGE> |
