PURPOSE: To display plurality of pictures with one device by converting the video frequency and the refresh timing of second picture information to those of first picture information and synchronizing second picture information with first picture information to synthesize second picture information with first picture information to display the synthesis result. CONSTITUTION: First picture information DPDT is read out from a frame buffer 10 by the refresh timing in a display control part 13 of a storage device 1. Second picture information DPDT2 is read out tram the area, which is designated by an area designation part, of a frame memory 20 synchronously with this refresh timing by a scanning conversion device 2. First picture information DPDT from the storage device 1 and second picture information DPDT2 from the scanning conversion device 2 are synthesized and displayed by a synthesizer 5. Thus, plural picture information different by video frequencies are synthesized and displayed on one display device. |
