<p>Two circuits monitor the performance of the stop-light switch (1) of a motor vehicle. When the ignition switch (3) is actuated, two memories (6, 15) record whether or not the stop-light switch emits signals. The memory (6) which records the presence of a stop-light switch signal is then reset when said signal disappears and the other memory (15) is reset when the brake-light switch signal is emitted. If one of the memories is not reset during travel, the next actuation of the ignition circuit causes a fault to be displayed (11).</p> |
