In the case of known cartouches, the direction of axial insertion of sub-cartouches is determined during manual loading by a multiple connector which does not allow the cartouches to be inserted one behind the other in any desired direction or the assembled cartouches to be loaded in any desired direction. This multiple connector can therefore not be used, to reduce the manual loading time, with identical rotationally symmetrical and axially symmetrical propellant charge modules, if these modules are to be assembled in any desired sequence, number, direction of insertion and direction of loading during manual loading. This problem is resolved by a multiple connector (1) for at least two identical rotationally symmetrical and axially symmetrical propellant charge modules (2), which have a constricted case region (5) on other side of the container (4), two adjacent containers (4) being connected on the side of the region of the casing (5) in mutual contact by a separate connector ring (6). The connector ring, in particular by virtue of an additional connection by clamping or adhesion, guarantees a high stability of the propellant charge modules which can be interconnected as desired in various graduations corresponding to their range.
