PURPOSE:To obtain a blood component separator which can simplify preparative operations for extra-corporeal circulation by uniting and integrating an extra- corporeal circulation of blood with blood component separating filter. CONSTITUTION:A stacking body 1 consists of a four-layer structure prepared by adhering plate bodies 2, 3, 4 and 5 in layers. The plate body 2 has a number of connecting ports 29-42 and 44-59, and is drilled of a concave 43 and an opening 60. The plate body 4 and the plate body 5 include flat membrane integrating type filter 62. Between connecting ports, pump tubes 23, 26, 27 and 28 which are set to a roller pump apparatus are installed. The communicating tube is fitted to the roller pump and lines 74-77 and connected to a pressure sensor 8a-8d to prepare for monitoring of pressure of collected blood, return blood pressure, inlet pressure and pressure of filtrate. Then, operations are done in the order of priming washing, blood priming, collection of plasma and cleaning and return of blood. Thus, a filter mechanism is incorporated into an integrating body, to which an external functional parts are connected, in order to omit complicated making up operations and to avoid error of connection in a fluid circuit. |
