PURPOSE:To efficiently and automatically carry out cooling and packaging work, by uniformly cooling 'CHIKUWA' (bamboo-shaped, broiled fish-paste cake) while conveying pieces of 'CHIKUWA' one by one, automatically arranging a given number of the pieces and feeding the pieces into a packaging machine. CONSTITUTION:Holder rods 11 are supported on shafts in parallel at a somewhat larger interval than the width of the 'CHIKUWA' between a pair of chains 10 stretched in a multistage form in a cooling chamber. Plates 13 for allowing 'CHIKUWA' to stand with supporting rods 12 at the tips on both sides thereof are fixed and partition plates 14 are provided at right angles thereto. The supporting rods 12 are supported on guide rails 15 laid along the chains 10. The guide rails 15 are absent in a 'CHIKUWA' dropping part of each stage and almost opposing blast pipes 18 having blow-off holes on the inside are arranged on both sides of the chains. A conveying chain 20, holder rods 21 and carrier plates 22 are provided under the cooling chamber in the same manner as that described above and successively shortening supporting rods 23 for plural carrier plates as one set are projectively provided on both sides of the carrier plates. The guide rails 25 at the end parts of the conveying chains 20 are absent in a stepwise form of (a), (b) and (c) and the pieces of the 'CHIKUWA' are fed into a packaging machine by a conveying belt intersecting the conveying chains 20 at right angles thereunder. |
