The present invention relates to a device 1 pertaining to a work platform 20 intended to be fitted to the rear end of a vehicle 4. The device 1 comprises a stand 2 which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 4 and which supports a hoisting device 10. The work platform 20 is connected to the hoisting device 10 such that it can be pivoted about an axis 23 extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 4. The work platform 20 comprises a top part 21 and a bottom part 22, it being the bottom part 22 of the work platform which is pivotably connected to the hoisting device 10.
