<p>An electrophotographic copying machine (1) in which the document platen (3) is adapted to be moved to a maximum extent regardless of the size of a document, at the time of the last reproducing operation in a series of reproducing operations. Even though the slide rail mechanism (7) for moving the document platen (3) generates migration, the migration is eliminated by continuously moving the document platen (3) to the maximum moving position after completion of the last exposure, thereby to produce no defective reproduction in the subsequent reproducing operations.</p> |
