PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of operation by setting copy magnification automatically with a paper feed cassette dedicated to the automatic magnification setting, or detecting document size by the device main body or automatic document feeding device (ADP) and setting the copy magnification automatically. CONSTITUTION:When the automatic setting of copy magnification is selected with a selection switch provided to the ADP 3, etc., the selection display of the paper feed cassette 5 dedicated to the automatic magnification setting is turned off and the copy magnification corresponding to form size set on a console panel is set automatically according to the document size detected by the ADP 3. When the automatic setting is not selected, on the other hand, the copy magnification is set according to the document size and form size specified for the cassette 5. Therefore, two means are used properly to handle such operation that only part of documents is copied with different magnification speedily and efficiently. |
