PURPOSE:To cut the leads of an electronic part in a point contact manner while continuously conveying the part by opening a hole oppositely to the conveyed part, disposing a cutting blade of substantially scissors shape along a conveying passage and cutting the leads of the part. CONSTITUTION:An electronic part having leads is conveyed by a coneying mechanism, and the fact that the part is arrived at the prescribed position is detected by detectors 18-20. A hole is opened oppositely to the part to be conveyed, the part is disposed along a conveying passage, and cutting blades 22, 23 of substantially scissors shape which cut the excess leads of the part which is moved to the prescribed position are provided. A drive unit 26 of the like is operated by the outputs of the detectors 18-20, and pressing force for cutting the excess leads of the part is applied to the blades 22, 23. |
