NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I [R is H, lower alkyl, benzyl; R1 is (NH)m-(CH2)n-W (m is 0, 1; n is 0-4; W is H, carboxyl, amino), formula II (Y is R, phenyl); R2 is H, lower alkyl; R3 is formula III, formula VI]. EXAMPLE:(2S,3aS,7aS)-1-[N-[2(R)-(4-benzylpiperazinyl)propionyl]-gamma-D- glutamyl]octahydro-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid. USE:It is used as remedy for circulatory diseases such as hypertension, or congestive heart failure, because it has an action to inhibit the enzyme transforming angiotensin. PREPARATION:The reaction of a compound of formula V or its salt with another compound of formula VI or its reactive derivative in the carboxyl group is followed by deprotection to give the compound of the formula I. |
