PURPOSE:To process parity bit under common control while decreasing the number of in-use elements by using memories of the same kind for data and parity, and providing the memory for parity with a selecting means. CONSTITUTION:The memory consists of ROMs 1-8 for data a memory ROMP for parity and they are of the same kind. The memory ROMP is stored with parity bits for the memory ROMs 1-8. One of the data memories is accessed by an acess means 1 composed of a decoder 2 to read some unit data. At the same time, the ROMP is accessed by the access means 1 to read parity bits of unit data. Then, the selecting means 3 selects the parity bit of said read unit data. Consequently, the common control is performed by the memories of the same kind and simplified. |
