PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of pilling with fabric hand improved by subjecting knitted or woven fabric of spun wool yarn to shrink-proofing treatment with chlorine, potassium permanganate or the like. CONSTITUTION: Wool spun yarn is used to produce knitted fabric or woven fabric. Then, the resultant fabrics are subjected to the shrink-proofing treatment with chlorine, potassium permanganate or the like thereby producing shrink- proof wool spun yarn products having improved fabric hand and pillingproof properties. |
