The precision time integrator has a measurement section (10) which samples an applied signal and provides a digital reconstruction of the values. There is also a section (11) for dating the samples. This includes a clock (18) associated with a computer (19) and a sample cadence set (20). There is also a temporary store for the dated sample values. A calculator (12) collects the samples and dated values, and produces an integration by multiplication of sample values between successive dating samples. A summer adds the multiplied results.
