Match package with striking strip - contains spring pressing each match in turn against internal strip on pulling out

The match package incorporates a striking strip (a,b), by which matches (2) are lit as they are pulled out. A number of matches are pressed by a spring (3) against the strip which is accommodated inside the package. They are contained in a stack, being pulled out one at a time and bearing against the strip as this is done. The matches can be stacked in a single plane, while the spring can be of the leaf type. Their heads can work in an inclined guide, so taht the end of the next match to be used protrudes outside the package.
