PURPOSE:To equalize a temperature distribution of the surface of a drum, and also to shorten a rise time, by providing a heating element so as to contact with or in the vicinity of the inside surface of a photosensitive drum, and varying its heating value density in the axial direction and the circumferential direction of the drum. CONSTITUTION:To a photosensitive drum shaft 2, a cylindrical face-like heater 16 is fitted and fixed. This face-like heater 16 has the almost same length as width of a drum 1, and its heating part 16a is constituted so that the center part lacks in the axial direction of the drum 1 as hatching of a broken line, for instance, the center part lecks the heating part by about 1/3. Also, in the circumferential direction of the drum 1, one part of the upper side, for instance, a range of about 30 deg. to the left and right from right above lacks. The outside surface of this face-like heater 16 and the inside surface of the drum 1 are fitted adjacently, for instance, at an interval of 2-3mm.. In this way, a temperature distribution of the surface of the drum can be equalized, also a rise time can be shortened, and a picture quality can be improved. |
