Plant for surface treatment of continuously moving strip consists of a container with a separate treatment channel (4) which surrounds the strip. The channel is upwardly closed by an intermediate cover which is attached to the container cover (3) and lies on side walls (5). The treatment fluid enters the channel via front (9) and back (10) nozzle banks which face inwards towards the centre of the treatment channel. Discharge conduits (13) are provided at the centre of the channel (4).
