PURPOSE:To enable judging an operational failure or trouble of a heat pump hot-water supply device properly and immediately by installing failure diagnosis section which receives detected values from all temperature sensors and carries out failure diagnosis based on a program where memory is stored previously and a display output section which issues an alarm in emergency. CONSTITUTION:Numerals 34 stands for the temperature of hot water supplied from a high temperature hot water storage tank 21 while numerals 35 stands for the temperature of hot water in a lower temperature hot water storage tank 28. Numeral 36 stands for the temperature of hot water in a return piping. Numerals 37a and 37b stand for the inlet temperature and the outlet temperature of a high temperature side heat pump 22 respectively. Numerals 38a and 38b stand for a temperature sensor which detects the inlet temperature and the outlet temperature of a low temperature side heat pump 29 respectively. A failure diagnosis program in a failure diagnosis section 47 allows a hot-water supply device to start action by turning ON a power supply switch. The temperature sensors at the various section as described above input the temperature at each section into the failure diagnosis section 47. Based on the detected values, the program forms judgement as to whether the temperature of the lower temperature side hot-water storage tank is higher than a predetermined value A or not. When it is higher than the predetermined value A, the program passes judgement as to the presence of other troubles. If no trouble is detected, it is judged that the control device for a hot-water circulation pump 45 is subjected to operational trouble, and that the pump continues its operation without control. The program gives warning, such as through voice or the like, and outputs similar warning to a display section 40 and a printing section 41. When not trouble is detected, the temperature detection continues operation as it is. |
