PURPOSE:To decrease the number of exchange of a waste toner tank by executing the control to judge waste toner full only when a waste toner full sensor detects the toner again after the toner is leveled off by oscillating the waste toner tank for a prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:A lever moves as well along a cam when a driving oscillation gear 9 revolves and the cam moves and the waste toner tank 4 oscillates via the link 10. The toner is moved in a direction B by this movement. The waste toner detecting sensor 11 is so mounted as to detect the toner when the detected toner is at such an amt. at which the waste toner does not spill from the connecting part between a toner discharge pipe 2 and the waste toner tank 4. A mis-detection of the waste toner full when the waste toner is not full according to the way of the deposition of the waste toner in the waste toner tank of a copying machine is thereby prevented, by which the number of the exchange of the waste toner tank is decreased. |
