PURPOSE: To improve cooling effect by forming a duct with two thin plates of a frusto-conical form between a gas turbine and a power turbine, and directing a cooling fluid firm a large diameter extent to a small diameter extent of the duct. CONSTITUTION: A duct 12 is formed with two thin plates 18, 19 of a frusto- conical form between turbines with a volume 20 defined between the plates. A conduit 22 connected to a high pressure cooling air source is arranged at a large diameter extent of the duct 12. An exhaust hole 24 is arranged at a small diameter extent. As the speed of an cooling air flow in a tangent direction in the duct 12 is accelerated, heat transfer coefficients between the cooling air and an inner thin plate 18 is raised. Thus, it is possible to improve cooling effect.
