PURPOSE: To connect cover glass to a semiconductor while the surface of the cover glass is brought into contact with the surface of the semiconductor by providing a coupling and contacting section which is partially protruded from its supporting body and evenly united with the connecting and contacting section of the semiconductor or cover glass to the connecting and contacting section. CONSTITUTION: The surface 2 of a semiconductor substrate 1 is coated with a metallic connecting and contacting section 3 and the surface of cover glass 9 is also provided with a metallic connecting and contacting section 3a. The section 3 is protruded from the substrate 1 and shifts to two deformable flat surfaces 4 and 8a and the surfaces 4 and 8a are evenly united with the section 3 as a coupling and contacting section. The section 4 is electrically conductively attached and fixed in, for example, series to the metallic connecting and contacting section 7 and the contact and connecting forming section 10a of another solar battery cell. The section 8a, on the other hand, is electrically conductively connected to the connecting and contacting section 3a on the surface of the cover glass 9 through a contact and connection forming section 11. Thus the cover glass 9 can be connected to the substrate 1 while the surface of the glass 9 is brought into contact with the surface of the substrate 1. |
