PURPOSE:To improve a printing quality, by a method wherein in a printing head for which a piezoelectric element is used as a driving source, an electromagnet which is arranged parallel to the piezoelectric element and sucks a part near a printing wire of a lever, is excited in synchronism with the returning operation of the printing wire. CONSTITUTION:When a printing signal S is sent out to a piezoelectric element driving circuit 8 and a delay circuit 9 from a control part 7, the former applies a voltage V1 to a piezoelectric element 1 to elongate the piezoelectric element, and a lever 3 is rotated in the arrow A direction centering around a plate spring 4, pushes a printing wire 2 to perform printing, while, the latter delays the signal in synchronism with the returning operation of the printing wire 2. An electromagnet driving circuit 15 to which the delayed printing signal is inputted impresses a voltage V2 to an electromagnet 6, excites the electromagnet 6, while the lever 3 comes into close contact with the piezoelectric element 1 sucked to an electromagnet 6 to be restored to the original state. Therefore, the lever 3 can follow the quick driving of the piezoelectric element 1, and the printing wire 2 is prevented from rebounding to improve printing quality. |
