<p>Rotary-brush apparatus for cleaning gutters and basin or tank walls. The rotary brush 4 of the apparatus 1, said brush having a more or less vertically running axis 5, is seated with its rotary drive 6 on a carriage 10, which is mounted in a vertically displaceable manner on a carrier 7. The carrier 7, for its part, is mounted in a vertically displaceable manner on a vertical guide rod 8. Arranged on the carrier 7 is a weight-balancing arrangement 12 which, for the purpose of emitting a force which raises the carriage 10, has a spring 14 which, on the one hand, is connected to the carrier 7 and, on the other hand, acts on a pivoting body 15, which is mounted on the carrier 7, eccentrically to the pivot axis 17 of said body, the pivoting body 15 itself being coupled to the carriage 10. The guide rod 8 is preferably fitted on a more or less horizontal pivoting arm 40, and a spring 42 which deflects said pivoting arm 40 laterally is preferably provided, it being possible, by virtue of this pivoting arm 40 and the guide rod fitted thereon being deflected, for the rotary brush 4 to be forced from the side against walls 3 which are to be cleaned. <IMAGE></p> |
