PURPOSE: To considerably reduce power consumption to lengthen the sevice life of a battery by providing a vehicle body and a door respectively with a master station and a slave station respectively with built-in microcomputers, and connecting them through a data transmission line and a request signal line. CONSTITUTION: This door lock communication device is provided with a master station 1 having a power down command sending means 1a, a power down control means 1b and a door lock/unlock command sending means 1c and connected to three switches 5, 6, 7, and a slave station 2 having a door lock control means 2a, a power down control means 2b and a request signal sending means 2c and connected to a door locking motor 8 and a door locking switch 9. When parking or the like, both stations 1, 2 are put in a power down mode, and the slave station 2 is reset from the power down state every specified time to check the door locking switch 9 so as to immediately perform lock control or the like by the communication device when necessary. |
