<p>PURPOSE:To make a grounding container small-sized by mixing the fine powder of an insulating solid in the insulating gas in the grounding container to improve the performance of the insulating gas. CONSTITUTION:After a stirrer 5 is operated, the voltage is applied to a charging conductor 2 and fine powder 4 of SiO2 is introduced, then the fine powder 4 is floated in a grounding container 1 and uniformly mixed in the air 3. Al2O3 or fluororesin powder may be used for the fine powder, and gas with the insulation property higher than that of air such as Freon gas as well as air may be used for the insulating gas. Only the insulating gas may be initially used, and the stirrer 5 may be operated just when an abnormality such as an inner discharge is detected. For the stirrer 5, a shaft seal rotor fitted to the bottom of the grounding container 5 is driven by a motor, or a ultrasonic vibrator or an air flow spraying nozzle may be used. The insulation performance can be improved and the equipment can be made small-sized according to this constitution. When the stirrer is stopped, the AC breakdown voltage is slowly decreased at the time constant with the order of minutes.</p> |
