PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by combining a link lattice carrying multiple lattices with a carrying section at top sections of lugs with the mating electrodes, inserting them into a battery jar, then removing the carrying section. CONSTITUTION:Lattices 4 with electrode plate lugs 1 connected by a carrying section 3 are cast. Inter-cell connectors 2 are simultaneously formed at this time. Lead paste is filled in the lattices 4, the front and back of electrode plates are continuously covered with separators 5. They are inserted into a battery jar 8 together with the mating electrodes produced likewise. The carrying section 3 is then removed along the broken line a-a'. A lead-aid battery with excellent productivity, low cost, high volume efficiency, and high quality can be obtained. |
