PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a counted and stacked block from bulky stacked paper, effectively preventing the incomplete counting of a counter and performing sound work for supplying an uncounted and stacked block, parted from the bulky stacked paper, to the next process. SOLUTION: The method for forming the counted and stacked block from the bulky stacked paper comprises temporarily supporting the uncounted and stacked block 3, parted from the upper part of the bulky stacked paper, on a temporarily supporting table 9, transferring the uncounted and stacked block 3, temporarily supported on the temporarily supporting table 9, on a lower elevator 10, moving the lower elevator 10 up for supplementing and planely stacked the counted and stacked block 3 on the lower face of a preceding stacked block 12, supported on an upper elevator 11, and supplying the counted and stacked block 14, parted from the upper part of the planely stacked block 13, to the next process while supporting the preceding stacked block 12 and the planely stacked block 13 of the uncounted and stacked block 3 using one of the elevators.
