PURPOSE:To judge at a glance and to improve a processing efficiency by displaying retrieved customer transaction data and image data in contrast. CONSTITUTION:When data entered in a slip 30 are read and a character recognition is executed, a key to be used for a retrieval is determined from the presence and absence of the unread characters of character-recognized slip transaction data and priority order stored beforehand by a retrieval key determining part 25. When transaction item data without unread ones are used and the retrieval key is determined, the customer transaction data stored beforehand are retrieved by a data retrieval section 26. Next, the retrieved customer transaction data and the image data read out of the slip are displayed in contrast. Consequently, the decision of whether misreadings are in the character- recognized data used for the retrieval or not becomes easy. |
