<p>PURPOSE:To obtain accurate position coordinates of a prescribed black picture element (white picture element) by obtaining position coordinates of the change position of the attribute of a picture element nearest to approximate position coordinates in image data based on the change of the attribute of the picture element. CONSTITUTION:When an operator moves a mouse 1 to indicate a white picture element 8 by a cursor 5, a processing means CPU 7 defines position coordinates of the white picture element 8 as noticed coordinates. The CPU 7 checks the attribute of the picture element corresponding to noticed coordinates, namely, the white picture element 8 in accordance with image data in a storage means 6 and discriminates whether this picture element is white or black. Since the attribute indicates that it is the white picture element in this case, noticed coordinates are spirally updated in accordance with a prescribed rule. When noticed coordinates coincide with position coordinate of a black picture element 9, noticed coordinates are defined as position coordinates of the black picture element to be obtained because the attribute check result is changed to indicate the black picture element. Thus, accurate position coordinates of the prescribed black picture element (white picture element) are obtained.</p> |
