PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate a play of a wire in the direction of axis and surely cut and open a wire covering. SOLUTION: An insulation displacement part 17 for a wire W is composed of a pair of base parts 18 protruding inside from two positions distant from each other in the direction of wire axis at a sidewall 12, and folded blade parts 19 protruding further insides from the base parts 18. When squeezing the wire W between both insulation displacement parts 17, since the folded blade part 19 presses the cover Wa sharply, the cover Wa is surely cut open. Furthermore, even pushing and pulling force in the direction of axis is applied to the wire W in the state of being welded, a transformation of the insulation displacement part 17 in the axial direction of the wire is regulated by the base parts 18 protruding from two positions of the sidewall 12, the play of the wire W in axial direction can be surely prevented.
