<p>PURPOSE: To easily enable foaming at desirable density by applying special uncured polyurethane-forming composition to the surface of cloth and curing the same. CONSTITUTION: Polyurethane-forming composition includes polyol which has 3-8C alkylene oxide as a base and has an equivalent weight of 1000-5000, an internal poly(ethylene oxide) block consisting of 15-30 wt.% polyol and average functionality of 1.8-2.2, and includes a small amount of low equivalent compound having two active hydrogen-containing groups per a molecule and includes polyisocyanate which contains amount giving composition having isocyanate group of 0.9-1.3 pieces per the active hydrogen-containing group and has average functionality of 1.9-2.4 and includes a foaming agent of effective amount. The polyurethane-forming composition is applied to the surface of cloth and cured to form a cellular polyurethane-backed bonding body onto cloth. Suitable filler substance includes calcium carbonate, trihydrated aluminum, titanium dioxide, iron oxide and barium sulfate.</p> |
