PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of the density of a previous color image in color superimposition by reducing the dyeing affinity of dye layers in the order of thermal transfer recording. CONSTITUTION:The dyeing affinity of sublimating dye layers 2Y, 2M, 2C on a support sheet decreases in the order of Y N C. For instance, a solidly printed yellow image is obtained. Next, an yellow image, a red image (yellow+ magenta) and a magenta image are obtained. After this, an yellow image, a green image (yellow+cyan), a red image and a black image (yellow+magenta+cyan) are obtained, This method prevents a dye which is previously used for thermal transfer from being diffused into a dye layer transferred after the application of the former dye. As a result, an image with almost no deterioration of a yellow density among rod, green and black images, can be obtained. |
