PURPOSE:To speed up the retrieving time of meal slips for each patient on a designated date by registering meal information including each patient code and metal slip in a data file and using a control pointer for each meal. CONSTITUTION:Patient information on the name, the date of birth, the height, the weight, etc., of each patient is inputted through a keyboard 1 with operations of keys. At the same time, a patient code is added to the patient information. Then this information is stored in an index file 9. The meal contents are stored in a data file 10 via a meal slip 11 showing the meal contents designated by a doctor and based on the result of diagnosis of each patient. Meal control pointers are added to the file 9 for all days of each month and the patient code and the metal contents set to said control pointers are stored in the file 10. When the date is designated at the time of retrieval of the meal contents, the file 9 is read and the meal information is displayed on a CRT 7. |
