PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and superior in repetition characteristics by incorporating a specified disazo compound and a specified hydrazone compound in an electric charge generating layer and a specified pyrazoline compound in a charge transfer layer and using a combination of the three added into both layers formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The charge generating layer contains one of the disazo compound represented by formula I, X1 being optionally substituted alkyl, such aryl, or suck an aromatic heterocyclic group; X1 being H, nitrile, carbamoyl, carboxy, ester, or acyl; and Z being H, optionally substituted alkyl, suck cycloalkyl, such alkenyl, such aryl, or the like, and one of hydrazone compounds represented by formula II, each of R1-R4 being optionally substituted alkyl, such alkenyl, such aryl, or the like, and the charge transfer layer contains one of the pyrazoline compounds represented by formula III, each of R1-R3 being optionally substituted alkenyl, such aryl, or the like, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be high in sensitivity and superior in repetition characteristics. |
