PURPOSE: A computer system using a multiple operating system is provided to connect two hard disks, having their respective operating systems, and four communication networks with one computer so that a user can arbitrarily select and use a desired operating system and a desired communication network. CONSTITUTION: A computer system using a multiple operating system consists of a user computer(10) and a multi-net board(20). The user computer(10) having a plurality of operating systems is comprised of a plurality of hard disks(11,12), a main computer(13), a PCI slot(14), and a LAN card(15). The hard disks(11,12) have their respective operating systems. The main computer(13) controls the operations of the whole computer system according to a selected hard disk. The PCI slot(14) is to connect the multi-net board(20) to the main computer(13). The LAN card(15) is to connect with a specific LAN card. The multi-net board(20) to select an arbitrary operating system includes a microcomputer(21), line connectors(22-25), a multiplexer(26), a PCI interface(27), a hard disk selector(28), and a main line connector(29). The microcomputer(21) controls the operations of the multi-net board(20). The line connectors(22-25) are connected to communication networks respectively. The multiplexer(26) connects one of the line connectors(22-25) to the user computer(10). The PCI interface(27), connected to the PCI slot(14), executes the conversion of a signal supplied from the microcomputer(21). The hard disk selector(28) selects one of the hard disks(11,12) so that an associated operating system can be operated. The main line connector(29) connects the LAN card(15) with a main line.
