Apparatus for measuring the external inclination (varus) or internal inclination (vagus) of the foot, characterised in that it consists of a support 1 provided with two parallel recesses 2-3, 2a-3a, in which can longitudinally slide wedges 8, 8a whose upper face 9, 9a is plane; each recess being provided with guidance means 4 or 5; 4a or 5b; 5a or 5b with a spiral surface, and each wedge 8, 8a resting on these guidance means via corresponding spiral surfaces 10; 10a-10b; the wedges having a length "l" less than the length "L" of the support 1, such that the plane upper surfaces 9, 9a of the wedges 8, 8a are horizontal when the wedges are in the median position and are inclined inwards or outwards when the wedges are moved longitudinally. <IMAGE>
