The wooden constructional component comprises layers of squared timber (1,2,3). Each of the layers is secured one above the other and glued together. Each layer can comprise several squared-timber sections in a lengthwise row and secured together via serrated joints (5), these extending obliquely. There can also be a lengthwise continuous groove (21,22,23) in each layer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Uses offcuts, damaged wood etc. to form building component largely free from cracking or distortion. Pieces of wood are secured and jointed together.
