ash collectors of steam boilers at large power stations. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus has housing with inlet branch pipe for unpurified gas tangentially mounted at the bottom. Inner surface of cylindrical housing is provided with projections made over helical line, thus forming passages for proper motion of gas flow. Angle at top of projection is so selected that film of liquid rounds it repeatedly. Sprinklers made in form of circular tubes are mounted at the top of housing; circular tubes are provided with nozzles mounted radially for forming continuous washing-off film. Clean gas outlet branch pipe is mounted at the top of housing. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning and operational reliability; enhanced ecological safety. 3 dwg
