COLOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a positive guest-host type liquid crystal display panel capable of displaying a sharp golden color, by using a mixture of dyes having a specified compsn, and a white or golden reflective plate. CONSTITUTION:A guest-host type liquid crystal compsn. prepd. by adding (A) >=1wt% yellow dichroic dye and (B) 0.01-0.5wt% red dichroic dye to an Nn type liquid crystals is placed into a cell provided with a white or golden reflective plate on the backside and sealed to form a color liquid crystal display panel. It can display high quality golden color by adding a slight amt. of blue dye weighing <=0.1wt% to said compsn. to deepen the color.
