PURPOSE:To prevent the solidification of toner and deterioration in a drum, which are caused by heat, and to fully exhibit the performance of the title device by providing a part of a wind path for an optical system with an opening and forming, on an electrical part installed outside the cooling wind path, the wind path by means of taking advantage of the pressure difference of wind, thereby cooling the device. CONSTITUTION:An optical system cooling fan 3 takes in an outside cooling air 14a from an intake hole 4 and blows it inside. A wind 14b cooling an original placing table 6 heated by an exposing lamp 5 passes through the discharge hole 7 to the optical system, and is discharged outside the device. The cooling wind 14b is a main wind path, and its speed and pressure are high. It passes through the bypass hole 9 of the end of the optical system and flows in through a hole 9 communicating the electrical part 10, suppresses natural convection, passes by a heating plate 11, turns into a wind 14e and is discharged outside the device. Without arranging a cooling fan on the electrical part, a portion of the cooling wind of the optical system is bypassed to suppress heat conduction by natural convection from the electrical part. In addition, the performance of the process unit is fully exhibited to improve reliability and reduce manufacturing costs. |
