<p>PURPOSE:To attain the display of menus by changing the menu format when the relevant menu is not shown within a physical screen at a menu display position. CONSTITUTION:A menu display system comprises an input/output device 100 including a keyboard, a mouse, a CRT, etc., and an information processor 200. The processor 200 contains an input control part 3 for keyboard, etc., a menu display deciding means 4 which decides whether a menu should be displayed or not based on the due input information, a menu display position analyzing part 5, a menu format editing means 6, a display information memory part 7, and a display control part 8. It is decided whether the input data can serve as an opportunity where the menu is displayed by the means 4. If so, the display position is analyzed and the menu is displayed at said display position. Then it is decided whether the displayed menu is shown within a physical screen or not. If not, the format is analyzed and edited for display of the menu.</p> |
