The invention relates to a fabric onto which a deposit of a substance reflecting electromagnetic waves is applied. This fabric is made up of a flexible support obtained by weaving or by any other method for processing fibres, onto which the metal, previously deposited on a peelable support, is bonded. This bonding takes place using adhesive or using a fusible grid; a flexible material is thus obtained which completely or partially reflects radiation, both visible and invisible, intended particularly for the manufacture of blinds, curtains, screens against solar radiation and the like, as well as of semi-transparent veiling or of thermally insulating garments and articles. <IMAGE>
